A little about me

Art has always been there

I was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, and lived in Germany and Hungary before making Canada my home in 2021.

I don't remember exactly when I fell in love with art. I was simply too young. It has always been there. Through every stage of my life, painting was the place I returned to. It helped me through difficult moments, kept my hands busy, and quieted my mind.

I studied at art school. Although pursuing art professionally wasn't a realistic path for me at the time, I never stopped creating. As my interests changed, so did my subjects. There were years when I became fascinated by animals, others when I focused on portraits, and even a period when I was completely obsessed with the sea. I discovered that waves actually have an anatomy and spent countless hours studying how they rise, curl, and break. All of it still shapes the way I paint.

In 2026, I began taking my art more seriously after discovering texture painting. I became completely absorbed by the process and started experimenting. Selling my first few original pieces gave me the confidence to keep going. Ideas started coming from everyday life: my cats, people around me, travel, and little moments.

Today, I don't limit myself to one medium or one style. Rather than simply painting what I see, I try to capture what a moment feels like. I follow what I’m curious about and see where it takes me.
